If you want a bigger line I would use a 3/8 but I would highly recommend that you use a 1/8 inch line. They are clean, easy to do and best of all make your tile stand out a lot more. Diagonal lines – Recently a lot of tile installers are switching over to diagonal lines simply to make the room feel different but what you need to understand is that it feels different because the room seems bigger now. If you don’t have a very big room then the diagonal lines will take people’s sight off of the walls and make them look at the floors. If you don’t think this will work then just look at some floors that use this technique and the ask yourself how the room feels. If you can do all of these things then your room will look much bigger. Just remember that you have to buy the right floor tile as well and remember that sometimes buying the cheapest tile flooring does work just as well as the more expensive stuff.
